Every sale is preceded by Prospecting. Every good recruit is preceded by prospecting. Bomb out at prospecting and you'll BOMB OUT!
I'll learn the basic skills of prospecting so I can have business relationships that count. I'll also teach my All-Stars that Turn Pro skills will help them develop the “UNSTOPPABLE” growth they want and need. If I ever expect to excel at finding more business I must master the fundamental skill of finding and approaching prospective customers or recruits to expand my reach in business.
The reason I know I can achieve more is I can learn more, do more and be more. Skills matter and I'm acquiring the people skills so I can have a dynamic impact when I work.
It's nice to realize that all my success and income is not dependent on just me, but rather on the collective efforts of the team I put together. Prospecting is a call to action, communication with others having the intent to create a new business relationship.
I will speak prospect… I will not firehose them and chase them off. I will ask good questions and listen to their answer. I will remember it's about them. I will have a great GaGa answer when people ask me what I do for a living. I'm gonna have more fun, help more people and make more money.
I'm glad I won't have to say... "had my team been better at finding customers or ambitious people, they wouldn't have quit so soon... OUCH!” Why?, because I'm passing the Turn Pro baton to my All-Star players.
